Akesis Announces First U.S. Patient Treatment with Gemini360RT System at Advanced Radiation Centers of New York

CONCORD, Calif. – Dec. 22, 2025 – Akesis, Inc., a leader in cutting-edge radiation oncology technology, today announced the first patient treatment in the United States using its innovative Gemini360RT system. The historic treatment was successfully delivered on Tuesday, December 16, at Advanced Radiation Centers of New York in Lake Success, NY.

The Akesis Gemini360RT™ is a state-of-the-art, ring-gantry-based linear accelerator (linac) system designed for clinical excellence and operational efficiency. Its architecture enables a broad range of treatments—from IG-IMRT to SBRT to SRS/SRT—while helping clinics maximize patient throughput and minimize treatment times.

The Gemini360RT is fully capable of online and offline adaptive radiation therapy, allowing clinicians to intelligently modify a patient’s treatment during the course of therapy. Furthermore, the system’s advanced capabilities include sophisticated motion management via real-time intrafractional imaging and automatic positional adjustments, ensuring the highest degree of accuracy throughout treatment.
