Akesis is focused on expanding access to effective radiation therapy by combining innovative technology with established treatment approaches. Our goal is to advance what is possible in radiation medicine while remaining grounded in clinical practicality.

Our platform-based development model is designed to scale across a broad range of clinical environments, from small community and rural centers to large academic health systems. Building without the constraints of legacy system architecture has allowed us to approach design and engineering with flexibility and focus.

Akesis is headquartered and manufactures all systems in California, supporting high-quality production under direct oversight and close collaboration across our engineering and clinical teams.

In October 2019, Akesis received a Device Manufacturing License from the California Department of Public Health’s Food and Drug Branch. This authorization covers the manufacture and distribution of the Akesis Galaxy RTi and Akesis Gemini360RT, both of which received FDA 510(k) clearance in 2021.
